Clean Lines.
Precise Movement.
Rare Cuts.
Each Yael Sonia piece is recognizable for its devotion to these core tenets. It is the result of its founders’ work as artist, engineer, dreamer and designer.
She starts with a sketch, a jewelry blueprint of sorts, to guide herself and the craftspeople she works with over the weeks- and sometimes months-long journey to a finished piece.
Gemstones and pearls are chosen for their soul, and are cut to rotate, move, or roll within precious metal. While architectural in its conception, each piece is personal and intimate in scale and execution.
Each facet of the guava quartz and amazonite in the Rock collection is cut by hand yet looks shaped by the Earth; Perpetual Motion is exacting in its mechanics but bears the touch of the human hand; Deco realizes exacting cubes rendered in both stones like rutilated quartz and chalcedony and gleaming yellow gold.
There is a visual clarity that belies the intricacy of each ring, each bracelet, each necklace, each pair of earrings. It is geometry rendered and realized perfectly and imperfectly, nature and man and woman together.
