Ellipse

There is comfort in a structured form, and tension that arises from that which is obscured. Ellipse plays in both realms, with sculpted pieces that both seek to protect precious gems while gently revealing their oceanic beauty.

This collection marks a return to Yael’s early focus on metal, featuring slanted walls of yellow gold that appear to almost collapse around smooth pearl spheres. There is femininity and strength in each expression, from two Akoya pearls nestled close, wrapped in gold and perched atop a crisp cuff, to an elongated pendant that holds a single South Sea pearl in confident opposition at either end.
